Box Hill Beatdowns: 2v2 AE Tournament

Hey guys, we’re back for another installment of Box Hill Beatdowns, It will be a 2v2 tournament in Super Street Fighter IV: AE2K12. This will also serve as a AE2K12 training session for those Melbourne fighters heading over to Sydney to compete at OHN:X on Feb 17-19th.

So grab a teammate and check out all the info you need to know below. Also, if you can’t find a teammate, do not worry, because we will find you one on the day. So come down and enjoy some AE action with some of the friendliest gamers around.

Box Hill Beatdowns 2v2 AE2K12 Tournament Details

When Thursday, January 26th
Sign ups start: 6:00pm
Tournament starts 7:15pm
Where 609 Station St, Box Hill, VIC, Australia. (See map below)
Fee $5 per player.
Prizes Cash prize ratio 70/30 of the sign-up pool less matches played. Plus free play cards for people who place between 3rd-8th.
Tournament Format/Rules Best of 5 Rounds, Best of 1 Game. Double elimination.
If you lose, your teammate steps in. Your team loses when you both have lost your matches.
Winner can NOT change character, but can change Ultra.
Loser can change character and Ultra.
Blind pick can be requested by asking the organizer.

Recommended Parking Best bet is Bank st, if you find nothing on Station St. Parking is free after 6pm.
BYO Since it is an arcade event, there is no need to bring anything along besides entry fee.
