CouchWarriors Ranking Battles in Box Hill are back to finish out the 2011 Season! BAM is over but we’re looking to round out the year with a great ranbat full of lots of fun events and exciting tournaments.
At this point we’re trying our best to have Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 on-board (a few days before launch) and if that happens we’ll be running a very special launch party tournament. If that fails however we will try to do this at the next following Shadowloo Night Live and will instead run a Marvel vs Capcom 3 vanilla tournament with the stipulation that all teams must be themed. (ie. Team Green, or The Avengers) and you may not play your main team!
We’re also trying out something a little special this month for AE, we’ll be running a Swiss Bracket instead of the usual Double Elimination. If you are unfamiliar with this format all you need to know is that you’ll get to play a bunch more matches than you usually would if you lose a lot in a standard tournament so you’ll get heaps more practice. Finally we will be awarding the winners of the 2011 season (by points) their medals, so come down and check it out!
If you have an Xbox or PS3 setup please do bring it along and help us out, even just having more casual setups helps out the community a lot and gives everyone something extra to do.
For those who have never attended a CWRB, all the info you need to know is right below. Don’t be worried about fitting in or not knowing anyone at the event either, the Melbourne community is very welcoming, so you will feel right at home.
