Heads up to all our European readers… ever wanted to visit Australia? Well here is your chance to win a free trip and accommodation by just doing what we all love; compete in fighting games. Thanks to James “WorstGiefEver” Bardolph, Dawgtanian and the Armshouse crew, the Shadowloo Showdown 2012 London qualifier is shaping up to be a spectacular event.

| Prize | 1st: Paid ticket to Melbourne, Australia, plus accommodation & seeding for SS2k12. 2nd: If 60 players enter AE2012, 2nd place will also receive a trip to SS2k12 in Australia. If 30 players enter UMvC3, 2nd place will also receive a trip to compete at SS2k12 in Australia. Top 8 are seeded at Shadowloo Showdown 2012 |
| Platform & Rules | Groups into double elimination. SF4: 128 player cap. Marvel: 64 player cap. 1 player cannot win both qualifiers, but is allowed to enter both. UMVC3 top 8 will be best of five, time permitting.
Prize rules: The winner must have a valid passport by Friday 3rd March. If s/he does not, the prize will be given to the next highest finisher. If the winner cannot make it to the event for whatever reason, the prize will be given to the next highest finisher. Only European citizens are eligible for the prize. |

Because it doesn’t say that it’s a 18+ event, then you should be fine.
