Shadowloo Night Live 2012: Round 4

Hey guys, hopefully you all had a good time either attending round 3 of Shadowloo Night Live or watching the event via the live stream. Either way, we hope you all can join us for Round 4 which is scheduled to go down this Sunday the 12th of February. Same time, same place.

We hope the US special guest; DJHuoshen has opened up your eyes on how far behind we are in terms of Marvel and with the OzHadou Nationals coming up the week after round 4, we really need to step it up.

Please also check the schedule as we’ve made some slight changes to it. Please also try and arrive before the tournaments start cause it makes the staff’s job a whole lot easier, plus it doesn’t mess up the seeding of the brackets.

Newcomers to SNL; SoulCalibur V and King of Fighters XIII had a pretty solid turnout, so let’s see if we can keep that up or better yet, surpass it. Please let other Soul and KoF fighters know about SNL and convince them to come along.

For those who have never been to an SNL event, it’s a very friendly environment where you can improve your skills and make some cool new friends, so come down and check it out if you can. Spectating is free! Check out all the details below.

When	Sunday, February 12th Doors Open for Registrations: 11:00am Tournament Start Time: 12:00pm
Where	Galactic Circus M9 Bar: 8 Whiteman Street, Southbank VIC 3006. (See map below)
Fee	Venue Entry Fee: $10.00 Tournament Fee: $2.50 per tournament
Prizes	1st: 70% of the tournament entry fee in the tournament they win. 2nd: 30% of the tournament entry fee in the tournament they win. 3rd: If a tournament has over 32 entrants, 3rd also receives some prize money.
Tournament Format/Rules	Standard best of 3 rounds, best of 3 games for AE’12 (Winner can’t change character but can change ultra) UMvC3: Best of 3 games, winner can not change characters or order. KoF:XIII: Best of 3 games. Winner can not change characters. SoulCalibur V: Best of 5 rounds, best of 3 games. Winner can not change character.

Recommended Parking	Multilevel parking right near the venue is $10 for up to 24 hours. If you are feeling lucky, you might find some free parking in the back streets around Crown Casino. Another option is to go to the bar and have a few drinks with the boys and have your ticket validated so it’s like you are parking for free.
BYO	I believe there is enough set ups this week, but please bring along your sticks if you have sticks, or controllers if you use pad. We want to slowly move to a “Bring your own” stick type event to get people ready for major events which will also be introducing this rule.
Shadowloo Showdown Donations	We are taking donations for Shadowloo Showdown from those who are willing and can help out. Donations will go towards helping get the high profile international players here which in turn will put Australia on the map. High profile players will also help us acquire sponsors for SS2012. No donation is too small, thanks!.
